Description
These playing cards illustrate the wild birds commonly found in the square mile of the City of London, including summer and winter visitors. The diversity of bird species in the City’s gardens and squares, and along the River Thames, is remarkable, with species representing 27 of the 250 bird families globally.
This pack has been designed and illustrated by Dan Sperrin following a commission from the Master of The Worshipful Company of Makers of Playing Cards, Nick Prentice, to highlight the birdlife of the City of London.
